Plank Center Adds Renowned UGA Scholar to its National Board of Advisors

The board of advisors for The Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations has elected Dr. Juan Meng to its ranks, bringing the group to 28.

Meng is an associate professor and director of AdPR Choose China Program in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.

For more than 10 years, Meng has collaborated with the Center on various research projects to address current and future leadership issues, including the largest global study of PR leadership, Millennial Communication Professionals in the Workplace, the biennial Report Card on PR Leaders, and the North American Communication Monitor.

“We are thrilled to have Juan join the board,” said Dr. Karla K. Gower, director of The Plank Center. “Her impressive work ethic, scholarly research and passion for developing public relations leaders complement those of the world-class academics and professionals serving on the board.”
