The Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations, the leading international leadership resource, reached a major milestone in 2015. The year marked 10 years since the University of Alabama’s Trustees established the Center and named it for public relations leader and UA alumna, Betsy Plank.
As part of the commemoration initiative, the Center celebrated 3,650 days of leadership, 120 months of mentorship, 10 years of the late Plank’s vision and one decade of success with a monthly series to highlight its programs and mission.
“The Center reached out to professionals, educators and students who supported our success over the past 10 years for their thoughts about aspects of public relations leadership. That information was shared on our website and via social media channels,” said Dr. Karla Gower, director of the Plank Cente.
The Center collected insight and designed more than 100 infographics, which continue to be used to educate, empower and elevate.
