    Showcased cutting-edge research, highlighted organizations who are moving the D&I needle, and featured individuals who have overcome D&I challenges. Public relations and communication professionals, educators and students gained actionable insights to implement within their own organizations.
  • The 2018 Plank Summit on Diversity and Inclusion in Public Relations
    Provided professionals, educators and students with a deeper understanding of the barriers of D&I in the profession and best practices to develop and implement strategic programs to grow, mentor and retain diverse populations within the field.
  • The 2013 Plank Summit on Leadership in Public Relations
    This Summit focused on the results of three global leadership studies and their implications for practice and education: the European Chief Communication Officers survey, Ketchum’s Leadership Communication Monitor, the Phase 2 of The Plank Center’s Cross-Cultural Study of Leadership in Public Relations.
  • The 2012 Plank Summit on Leadership in Public Relations
    Our first Summit unveiled the results of a major study of PR leadership in 23 countries. More than 4,000 practitioners were surveyed about key issues in the field, how they manage those issues, and what we must do to improve leadership in the future.
