Sankalp Sharma, PRSSA 2023-2024 National President, is a senior at Sacramento State University in Sacramento, California, majoring in public relations.
Sankalp has been in PRSSA since his first week of college and is involved in several leadership roles for his chapter. Sankalp got involved with PRSSA National by serving as a district ambassador and member of the PRoud Council. He spent a year as the national vice president of chapter development and wanted to continue serving the community at a higher level. He is beyond excited about this new role and hopes to contribute to a brighter future for PR students.
Outside of school, Sankalp tries to stay involved in his community and has written two books that raise awareness about social injustices and inequalities. He has been donating all the revenue to charities to help in whatever way he can.
