Bob Jimenez is senior vice president of corporate affairs at Cox Enterprises where he serves as the chief communications counsel to members of the executive team and leads the management of the company’s brand, reputation and strategic communications.
Bob is responsible for leading internal and external communications; digital platforms; public affairs and issues management; ESG engagement, measurement and reporting and corporate philanthropy. He also oversees the corporate event services and travel teams serving as an enterprise-wide resource for the company’s nearly 50,000 employees.
Along with serving on the board for The Plank Center, Bob also serves on the board of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, The Woodruff Arts Center and is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society and The Seminar. Previously, he served as board chair for the Latin American Association and on the boards of Leadership Atlanta, The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, United Way of Greater Atlanta, National Hispanic Corporate Council and Elon University School of Communications.
Bob earned a master’s of business administration degree with an emphasis in marketing and international business from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern Adventist University, where he was recognized as alumnus of the year in 2015.
