Júlia Pietro is a passionate communications professional and master’s student in advertising and public relations at The University of Alabama. Originally from Brazil, Júlia brings over six years of experience in strategic communication, with a background that bridges multinational corporate marketing and B2B agency work.
Her work has covered various cultures and markets, including American and Brazilian companies, enriching her ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and communicate across global contexts. From technology to industrial sectors, she has worked with companies such as NEC, Hindsite Software, Bosch, Dynamic Air, OHD and others. She is an advocate for ethical leadership in the profession of communications, focusing on values-driven leadership, mentorship and collaborative growth.
Júlia’s academic and professional interests include brand credibility, influencer marketing, artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, and corporate social responsibility (CSR), reflecting her drive to explore how communication can foster meaningful, trust-based relationships between global brands and their audiences.
As a Plank Center intern and member of EMERGE: The Plank Center & The Grossman Group Leadership Academy, Júlia is eager to contribute to the future of leadership in PR and empower the next generation of communicators.
