A storyteller and creative at heart, Colin is the social media manager at The Ohio State University. Before this role, he was a strategic communicator at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and Brigham Young University. In 2022, he was named Communicator of the Year in the state-wide Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) WisCOMsin Awards. Additionally, he received the Walt Seifert Award for Outstanding Service to the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) in the PRSA Central Ohio PRism Awards in 2023. 

Colin serves as president-elect for PRSA Central Ohio and has served in various leadership roles in previous chapters. A former PRSSA member, he served as a district ambassador and within the leadership of his chapter. As a student, Colin received two top PRSSA honors — the National Gold Key Award and the National President’s Citation.  

Colin is working on an MBA in the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State and received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Brigham Young University. When Colin is not at work or school—he is a husband, father of two and emerging content creator who loves to talk fandom and LEGO.
