Founder and CEO of The Grossman Group, an award-winning Chicago based strategic leadership development and internal communications consultancy, David counsels leaders at top organizations to unleash the power of strategic internal communication and drive performance. Clients include Abbott Laboratories, Amazon, Amsted Industries, Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly-Clark, McDonald’s, Microsoft, Pella and Stanley Black & Decker, among others.

David is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society and Forbes Communications Council and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Institute for Public Relations, the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication, the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Public Relations Department and the Communication Leaders of Chicago. He recently taught The Authentic Leader course at Columbia University in New York City.
Before founding The Grossman Group in 2000, David was director of communications for McDonald’s. He graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an honors degree in journalism and holds a master’s in corporate public relations from Northwestern University.
