Flavia Vigio
Flávia Vígio is a journalist and a PR professional. She has served in executive positions for more than two decades in media companies, most recently as the EVP of Communications for TelevisaUnivision. Before that, she also led Communications and Marketing areas for the Latin American businesses of WarnerMedia, HBO, and McDonald’s and worked on the agency side for Golin. Previously, she led External Relations for the fashion company Prima Classe in Italy.
She dedicates her time to studying Artificial Intelligence and developing new tools for Communications professionals. An expert in Media and Public Relations, Stakeholder Outreach, Internal Communication, Corporate Citizenship, Customer Relations, and Crisis Management, she provides senior counsel to businesses and brands.
Vígio is also an adjunct professor of Entertainment PR at the University of Florida and a member of The Plank Center Board of Advisors and MediaTalks Counsel Board. She serves as a mentor and volunteer for organizations that promote career development for women and young professionals in Communications.
Vígio holds a degree in Social Communications with a specialization in Journalism from the Pontifícia Universidade Catolica of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil. She is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish and Italian.
