Kevin Saghy

 

Kevin Saghy is the manager of communications for the Chicago Cubs. He is responsible for promoting the team’s marketing efforts, community involvement and other off-the-field endeavors.

Prior to joining the Cubs, Kevin worked as an account executive in the corporate practice of Ketchum. He was responsible for traditional and social media relations, writing, event promotion and influencer programs for a list of clients that included Best Buy’s Geek Squad, FedEx, Dyson, Kellogg Company, State Street Corp., and Ketchum’s visibility teams.

Kevin is a past national president of the Public Relations Student Society of America and continues to support PRSSA as co-chair of Champions for PRSSA and with PRSA’s student-to-professional task force. He is a board member of the Ohio Northern Chicago Alumni Club and a tutor for the Midtown Educational Foundation.

In 2009, Kevin was recognized at PRSA Chicago’s Young Professional of the Year and received the first Plank Canter Young Professional Mentor Award in 2010.

He has been a member of the Center’s Board of Advisors since 2012.

Kevin graduated with high distinction from Ohio Northern University, where he earned a BA in public relations with a business option.
