What I Learned During My Plank Fellowship


Dr. Astrid Sheil has 15 years of experience and expertise in strategic planning, crisis and corporate communication, and reputation management with two Fortune 500 companies and one European-based global corporation. She is also an accomplished motivational speaker, presenter and founding partner in the organizational consulting firm The Polaris Team. Astrid has led communication workshops for a U.S. senator, conducted organizational research for numerous clients, facilitated dozens of workshops on communication and brain dominance, and published articles on organizational effectiveness.

In 2012, Astrid was granted an Educator Fellowship from the Plank Center with Harley Davidson, where she spent two weeks in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Here are 10 things she learned during her experience.
