Dr. Amiso M. George is an associate professor of Strategic Communication and former director of the Strategic Communication graduate program at Texas Christian University (TCU). She developed and taught the first course in crisis communication and was director of the public relations program at the Reynolds School of Journalism, University of Nevada in Reno. She also taught at University of Texas San Antonio. In 2012, Dr. George was awarded a Plank Center Educator Fellowship where she spent two weeks at USAA, one of America’s leading financial services companies.
